Label TextThe most complex variety of filigree glass is patterned with a fine network of crisscrossing threads with tiny air bubbles trapped between the places where the threads cross (vetro a reticello—“glass with a small net pattern”). The most famous maker of reticello in 1545 was Francesco Bartolussi, of the Fornace al Nave, the Glasshouse at the Sign of the Ship.late 16th-early 17th century
