DescriptionFrom Amarna.
Label TextThis carved ivory object, possibly a die or gaming piece, was excavated in 1923–1924 at Amarna, the capital city built by Pharaoh Akhenaten. It was recovered by the Egypt Exploration Society and distributed to the Toledo Museum of Art through the EES’s formal division of finds.
