DescriptionAn electrum hekte (sixth-stater) from Phokaia in Ionia (c. 478–387 BCE). The obverse features a female head (possibly Artemis or Kybele) wearing a sakkos; the reverse is a quadripartite incuse square (ref: Bodenstedt 92).
