DescriptionCircular terracotta dish with a flat rim. Interior: Seated Eros holding an open box and a ball. Side A: Eros carrying an open box and a filleted wreath, approaching an altar. Side B: Flying Eros with an open box, ball, and fillets.
Label TextThis South Italian red-figure dish from the 4th century BCE depicts Eros in a series of scenes, including a central figure holding an open box and ball.
