Label TextMade of stripped tree limbs found on the grounds of the Pilchuck Glass School, glass leaves, and a serene, ghostly glass head, Garden of Ladders combines elements of nature, autobiography, and metaphor. Flora Mace and Joey Kirkpatrick met at Pilchuck and have been collaborating as artists for more than 27 years. "The wood and glass sculptures reflect our continuing interest in the many and varied ways we experience nature,” they explain.
