DescriptionPressed, probably upright, in a female mold of four unequal vertical sections bearing the pattern that also formed the edge of the rim and the upper sloping edge of the base, with a base plate that formed the broad flat base and the pattern in the recessed base, by a plain male plunger that formed the interior of the bowl and the upper surface of the rim. The moldmarks follow the contours of the pattern in a zigzag fashion. No pontil mark.
