DescriptionFont and inverted baluster stem blown and finished by tooling, then joined by a double-bladed knop and wafer. Joined by the same form of knop to the standard and base. Standard and base pressed upside down in a one-piece female mold by a plain male plunger with tapered cylindrical lower end that formed the interior of the standard with a hemispherical dome, a shallow flat square shoulder that formed the inner surface of the base, and another flat shoulder that formed the underside of the perimeter of the base. Pewter or britannia-ware collar machined and threaded.
