DescriptionPressed upright in a female mold of two vertical sections bearing a variant of the Excelsior pattern on six segmented panels, with a base plate that formed the underside of the base, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks extend from the outer edge of the foot to the rim. Moldmarks on edge of foot ground and semipolished. Large polished pontil mark.
