DescriptionSquare section of mosaic cane composed of fused polychrome glass. The design features a cobalt-blue ground with a central five-pointed star in opaque white glass. At the center of the star is an opaque yellow rod, itself outlined in cobalt blue. The section is attached to a dark-colored backing that appears black. The upper and underside surfaces are flat, and the vertical edges are smooth. The object was cast and polished after being assembled from colored glass segments.
