DescriptionMarbled mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of a single cane in a purple ground with irregularly shaped opaque yellow sections and streaks.
Small pyxis with lid. Upper- and undersides of lid flat with a vertical rim with a rounded edge. Vertical rim of pyxis ground back on the outside to create a narrow ledge on which the lid sits; vertical sides; rounded basal angle; flat bottom, slightly convex on its upperside. On the exterior of the lid, a horizontal cut groove.
