DescriptionThe pattern, in the following order, right to left, consists of a composite cane with a central opaque red length encasing opaque white flanked by strips of blue encasing opaque white; and a composite cane with a central opaque yellow length encased in c DESCRIPTION Three joining fragments of side and bottom of Pyxis. Vertical side; rounded basal angle; flat bottom. Striped mosaic pattern formed from lengths of two alternating canes laid side by side in parallel rows and separated from one another by sin-gle lengths of a network cane. This pattern is repeated successively over the vessel. TECHNIQUE Assembled from lengths of cane and sagged; rotary-polished on both surfaces.
