DESCRIPTION Fragment of rim and side of broad, shallow bowl. Upright rim with rounded edge; fairly straight side, proceeding diagonally downward, then curving inward toward the bottom. Striped mosaic pattern formed from lengths of two alternating canes laid side by side in parallel rows and separated from one another by single lengths of a network cane.
TECHNIQUE Assembled from lengths of cane and sagged; applied rim; rotary-polished on both surfaces.
