DescriptionFragment of an oval medallion in cameo glass. The surviving portion includes the back of a male head in left-facing profile. The figure is Julio-Claudian and carved in opaque white glass against a brownish background. The hair is short, evenly arranged, and finely detailed. The surface shows iridescence on the front and a crack on the reverse.
