DescriptionThick glass. A few small bubbles. Natural light green body and applied handle; folded horizontal rim; short cylindrical neck; wide handle with vertical ribbing extends from neck to shoulder; tall rectangular body; mold blown decoration in concave bottom: small circle in each corner, large circle in center with four curved lines inside, forming four-pointed motif. Transparent to translucent natural pale green (10 G 6/2). Body blown into a one-part mold with patterned base; neck and mouth Free-blown. No pontil mark. Hollows on all four sides of lower body probably caused by steam escaping from bottom of mold. Wide hollow rim, folded outward, downward, outward, upward, inward, and flattened to form a broad brim. Cylindrical neck with slight upward taper and curved transition to shoulder. Horizontal shoulder. Square straight-walled body with slight downward taper. Concave base. Short wide angular handle with thirteen indistinct combed ribs from shoulder to just below rim. On underside of base, a mold-blown design consisting of a raised diamond with concave sides inscribed in a raised circle. In the center, a second raised circle.
