DescriptionThin glass. A few small and medium bubbles.
Transparent light olive brown (5 Y 5/6). Translucent similarly colored handle. In body, one large spiral streak of pale brown from base to rim (5 YR 5/2).
Underside of body blown into a one-part patterned mold. No pontil mark. Excess glass at tip of handle drawn out thin and snapped off.
Hollow rim folded outward and downward. Nearly straight-sided body with slight bulge at middle and walls tapering down to obtuse angle with bottom. Tooled base with concave underside and slanting tool marks on upper side. Pointed basket handle made of a heavy coil with round cross section, applied to top of rim on one side and attached to top of rim on opposite side.
On underside of body, very indistinct expanded mold-blown pattern of ribs radiating from base.
