DescriptionThick glass. Fabric cannot be determined because of weathering.
Natural light green body and applied handle; flat folded rim; cylindrical neck; wide flat handle extends from top of neck to shoulder; bottom with mold blown decoration; each corner with two circles, in relief, one inside the other; three concentric circles.
Transparent to translucent natural pale green. Exact color cannot be determined because of weathering.
Body blown into a one-part mold with patterned base; neck and mouth free-blown; no pontil mark. Hollow on lower part of body on side opposite to handle probably results from steam escaping from bottom of mold.
Wide hollow rim, folded outward, upward, inward, and flattened obliquely. Tall cylindrical neck with bulge above constriction at its base. Concave shoulder. Square straight-walled body with slight downward taper. Concave base. Short wide angular strap handle with thickened edges.
On underside of base, a design of raised concentric circles: one in each corner and two concentric circles (surrounding a minute knob?) in the center.
