DescriptionTransparent light olive-brown (near 5 Y 5/6). Translucent similarly colored upright looped border and handles.
Pontil mark ca. 1.6 cm in diameter. Added coil; excess glass at tips of upright looped coils drawn out thin against body of vessel. Added handles; excess glass at tips of handles drawn back against handles. Medium thin glass. Numerous small and medium-sized vertically elongated bubbles in body. Some stone in body and upright looped border. Blowing spirals.
Rim folded inward and downward. Flattened body with two tubular compartments, narrowing to base. Narrow round base. Four double-tiered angular coil handles applied to middle of body on front, back, and sides, touched down to upper body, and attached to rim. An upright looped border above rim made from two coils with circular sections: the first coil was applied to the top of the right side handle, touched down to the rim, then the front handle, then the rim, and attached to the top of the left side handle; the second looped border coil was applied to the top of the left side handle, touched down to the rim, then the back handle, then the rim, and attached to the right side handle. Rough areas on upright looped border indicate that originally this vessel had a basket handle.
