DescriptionTransparent dusky yellow (near 5 Y 6/4). Light olive (near 10 Y 5/4) trails and handle. Pontil mark ca. 2.1 cm in diameter; ground off. Body pinched once lengthwise. Added handles; excess glass at tips of handles folded back against handle. Thin glass. Blowing spirals. Fabric cannot be determined because of weathering. Rim folded outward, upward, inward, and downward. Flattened body with two tubular compartments, narrowing slightly toward base. Two looped trails applied to lower body just above base (with extra bit at bottom of right trail), touched down to body four times on left side, three times on the right side, and attached to edge of rim on left side below rim, and folded upward and inward over rim on right side. Flat double-tiered curving basket handle made from two separate thick coils with U-shaped sections: the first, M-shaped tier applied to the top of the looped trail on the left side, curved up over the mouth of the left compartment, touched down to the wall between the two compartments, curved up again over the mouth of the right compartment, and attached to the top of the looped trail on the right side; the second tier, most of which is lost, was applied to the right side of the M-shaped tier and attached to the left side. CLASSIFICATION: Double Tube IIIG2a.
