DescriptionThis piriform (pear-shaped) bottle is made from transparent natural grayish green (near 5 G 5/2) glass. The vessel was free-blown and features a pontil mark approximately 1.4 cm across. The glass is of medium thinness, although its fabric cannot be evaluated due to weathering.
The rim is rounded and thickened by fire-polishing. The neck is concave with a smooth transition to a strongly sloped shoulder. The body is piriform, tapering to a flat base with a central depression.
