DescriptionThe pattern, in the following order, top to bottom, consists of a composite cane with narrow, contiguous strips of dark blue outlined in opaque white, opaque red, green backed by opaque yellow and outlined in opaque white, and opaque white backed by blue; DESCRIPTION Fragment of rim and side of hemispherical bowl. Vertical rim with a slightly inturned, rounded edge; almost ver-tical side with a slight downward curve. Striped mosaic pattern formed from lengths of two alternating canes laid side by side in parallel rows and separated from one another by single lengths of a network cane. TECHNIQUE Assembled from lengths of cane and sagged; applied rim; rotary-polished on both surfaces.
