DescriptionTransparent to translucent manganese-colored grayish-red (near 10 R 4/2). Translucent pale yellowish-brown handle and thread (ner 10 YR 6/2). Medium thin glass. A few pinprick bubbles and one medium-sized spherical bubble on body.
Pontil mark ca. 1.5 cm in diameter. Added thread.
Spouted mouth; rim rounded and thickened in flame. Short cylindrical neck with curved transition to shoulder. Strongly sloped shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter below center. Base flattened with slight depression in center. Coil handle applied to shoulder.
From base of neck to about a third of the way down the body, nine revolutions of thin thread from top left to right, starting with triangular buckle at point of application and ending under application point of handle. Thread crosses itself at beginning and end where it is trailed on in an upward direction. End of trail sticks out and is rounded in flame.
