DescriptionThis grayish-red glass jug, made in the 1st century CE, has a bulbous body, spouted mouth, and handle attached at the shoulder. Nine spirals of thin glass thread decorate the upper part of the body. The surface shows bubbles, and the handle and thread are pale yellowish-brown.
