DescriptionMedium thin glass. Linear bubbles in neck. Blowing spirals. Transparent natural grayish-green (near 5 G 5/2). Similarly colored base ring. Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.8 cm. Engraved. Flaring, rounded in flame. Tall tubular neck with curved transition to shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter above middle, and walls curving down to small base. True base ring with outsplayed sides and slanting tool marks on exterior and interior. On body, horizontal wheel-cut lines from base to shoulder: two bands consisting of three lines each, one band consisting of four lines, and a single line at base of neck. CLASSIFICATION: Bottle, II A 2 e.
