DescriptionThis free-blown beaker is made of thin transparent natural pale green glass (10 G 6/2) and decorated with similarly colored threads. Small spherical bubbles and blowing spirals are visible in the body, and the pontil mark with remains of the pontil wad measures about 1.1 cm. Horizontal and vertical threads were added, with an irregular grid pattern of applied threads running on the body from approximately 2.5 cm below the rim to the base, then marvered into the vessel’s slightly convex sides which taper down to a concave base. The wide mouth has an everted rim, rounded and thickened in flame.
