DescriptionThis jar is made of transparent natural pale green glass (near 10 G 6/2). The rim is hollow and folded outward over the shoulder of the vessel, with visible tool marks at the outer edge of the fold and a ridge at the interior edge where an air pocket was trapped. The body is spherical with a pushed-in base that forms a hollow base ring and hollow stem. The glass fabric is medium thin with pinprick bubbles and visible blowing spirals. A pontil mark about 1.5 cm wide is present.
