DescriptionThe vessel is made of medium thick glass with numerous pinprick bubbles and visible blowing spirals. The glass is transparent pale green (near 5 G 7/2) with a translucent dark blue thread. The vessel was free-blown, with a pontil mark about 1.1 cm in diameter. A thread was added as decoration. The rim is topped with a thread and rounded in the flame. The body is U-shaped with convex sides and a short hollow tubular stem. The base is high and pushed in, with a hollow tubular base ring. The center of the base is pushed up through the stem into the bottom of the cup, where it forms a small convex bulb halfway up the stem. A thick thread runs along the top of the rim. The thread decoration consists of a nine-section zigzag on the lower half of the body, bordered at the top by a thick horizontal thread and, on one half of the cup, a thin horizontal thread.
