DescriptionThis fragment of cameo glass features very delicate cutting in opaque white over translucent light bluish glass. The preserved portion shows the bust of a nude male figure turned to the right. Based on the posture and fragmentary form, the figure may represent a centaur carrying a tree, though the identification is uncertain.
