DescriptionThis small medallion is made of opaque light turquoise blue glass and was formed using a mold-pressing technique. It features the profile bust of a bearded man wearing a laurel wreath, facing right. The figure likely represents a Roman emperor; Antoninus Pius has been suggested, though this identification remains uncertain.
