Label TextOn the neck of this vase, a poet sits in a rocky landscape. Below are emblems of The Four Accomplishments: writing, painting, music, and games. The body of the vase shows a domestic scene of aristocratic ladies and children. Famille verte is a polychrome porcelain technique known as yincaki or bright colors in Chinese. The green enamel color results from copper in the glaze.
