Description
Label TextTo create her fractured bowls, Concetta Mason has developed a “precision breaking” technique, where she carefully breaks a piece or pieces off her blown-glass form and then reconstructs the segments into a new form. What looks like cutting on the bowl and stand is achieved through the sandblasting process, where glass is removed by bombarding the object with fine grains of sand that are propelled by compressed air.
