DescriptionThis necklace is composed of hundreds of small, discoid beads made of blue-green faience, arranged into three tightly twisted strands that terminate in a single clasp. Suspended from the center of the twisted strands is a single drop-shaped pendant made of multicolored, opaque glass. The beads are ancient but have been restrung in a modern torque-style configuration using modern thread. The surface of the beads exhibits a glossy coating, likely a modern consolidant or enhancer applied to brighten the glaze
