DescriptionThis vertically oriented object features a kneeling female figure
mounted atop a long cylindrical shaft. The figure has a large head with
exaggerated facial features, including bulging eyes, a broad nose, open
mouth, and swirling raised brows. Her pierced ears are adorned with
rings and conical pendants, and she wears a domed headdress encircled
by small perforations, from which additional metal loops and chains
hang. Both arms are bent upward, with hands resting on her breasts, and
her legs are tightly folded beneath her. A chain link band wraps around
her knees and the shaft below. The lower section of the shaft expands
into a rounded, bulbous form featuring two prominent human faces in
back-to-back arrangement. Each face is vertically aligned and deeply
cast, with defined eyes, brows, nose, and parted lips. Surrounding this
double-faced element is a ring of iron loops and short chains.
