DescriptionThis fragment comes from a molded monochrome glass plaque, shaped in opaque cobalt blue and later wheel-cut and tooled. It depicts a female figure wearing what appears to be a corona muralis, a crown associated with personifications of cities. The figure may represent the Divinity of the city of Rome, although this identification is uncertain.
