DescriptionPressed upside down over a plain male mold that formed the upper surface by a female plunger bearing the pattern that formed the entire underside of the plate, including the bull's-eyes. Stippling on the base is very faint, like the impressions of a cloth pressed into damp clay. The piece rests on eight bull's-eyes around the edge of the base.
