DescriptionLacy socket with trifid leaf motif pressed, probably upright, probably by a bench press, in a female mold of three vertical sections by a plain male plunger, with a cap ring that formed the scalloped edge and top of the bobeche. Joined by a multiribbed knop to a square base with a handle. Base pressed upside down in a female mold of four vertical sections by a male plunger bearing the pattern of acanthus leaves and princess-feather medallions that formed the underside of the bottom section.
