DescriptionA diamond brooch, depicting a monogram of "GW." Overall brooch is platinum and the pin is 14K white gold. The diamonds are predominantly baguette cut, but overall the piece includes diamonds that are half-moon, custom cut baguettes, tapered baguettes, and typical baguettes Stylistically the piece is post-Edwardian, and more specifically aligned with the art deco period. Overall brooch determined to be platinum and the pin is 14K white gold, a metal that became popular after 1920s due to platinum being used in wartime construction.
