DescriptionA large blown-glass amphora that uses incalmo techniques to create an internal layer of royal blue glass and an external layer of thick richly patterned clear glass. The body of the amphora is round with a tapering neck. The arms of the vessel extend from the shoulders to the top of the neck. On the arms there are tooled glass wings. The entire surface of the vessel features tooled, stamped glass. There is a range of various stamped designs that are layered on the surface.
