DescriptionColorless glass, blown and tooled; large shallow concave polished pontil mark, surrounded by circle of radial cuts extending to edge of base. Obverse of body copper wheel engraved with pastoral scene of young man leading horse bearing a lady and his own mount with dog in foreground, through wooded area with stylized flowers and foliage below. Reverse engraved with a castle with trees on each side and garland with shield below. Area between and blow scenes cut with narrow vertical panels of varying lengths, one panel on each side cut with a series of ovals.
