DescriptionThis fragment preserves the rim and part of the upper body of a krateriskos. The medium turquoise-blue ground is decorated with opaque white and opaque yellow threads. It features a short, horizontal rim with a rounded edge and the remains of a tall cylindrical neck. An opaque white and an opaque yellow thread, both marvered, were applied to the upper surface of the rim and tooled into a tall, uneven festoon pattern that extends across the rim and down the neck.
Manufactured using the core-forming technique, the vessel was further decorated with applied marvered threads.
