DescriptionA small faience inlay or button-like ornament, circular in form, with a central rosette motif. The design consists of bright blue petals radiating from a central red core, all set against a yellow faience background.
Label TextBlue petals radiate from a red center on this small faience rosette, set against a yellow background. Excavated from Amarna’s Main Town in 1922, it likely adorned a surface—perhaps furniture or architecture—within the royal or elite residences of Akhenaten’s capital.
