DescriptionEntire piece pressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the Comet pattern, with a base plate that formed the underside of the base and its lower edge, with a cap ring that formed the rim and the plain section below the rim, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks extend from the edge of the base across its upper surface and to the lower edge of the cap ring, following the pattern of the stem and left side of the comet. No pontil mark.
