DescriptionPressed upright, probably by a bench press, in a female mold bearing the pattern, made up of four vertical sections, each of which includes the exterior of one foot, with a base plate that formed the bottom of the piece, including the undersides of the feet, by a male plunger that formed the plain interior and the upper half of each rope end. The feet are hairy paws, each with four toes resting on a hemisphere with a small boss below it. No shear mark is evident, but it seems likely that the piece was pressed upright.
