DescriptionEntire piece pressed upside down in a female mold of two vertical sections by a male plunger that formed the hollow interior of the standard and the foot, in conjunction with a male plug that formed the hole for the candle, with a cap ring that formed the underside of the foot. Shear mark on interior of base. Slightly rough pontil mark on interior of base at junction of foot and standard. Socket and upper part of standard heavily fire-polished.
