DescriptionDeep blue. Socket and stem pressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections, with a cap ring that formed the upper side of socket petals, by a plain male plunger. Joined by a wafer to a hexagonal standard with a round foot. Standard and base pressed, probably upside down, in a female mold of two vertical sections that formed the hexagonal part, in conjunction with a one-piece female mold that formed the round base, by a plain male plunger that formed the hollow interior of the base, with a cap ring that formed the slightly rounded underside of the foot. The female mold that formed the standard did not open in a straight vertical joint: the moldmark rises vertically from the top round ridge to the bottom of the hexagonal knop, then angles to the right, then vertically to the lower point on the scallop at the top of the waisted standard, then left along the top of the scallop for 0.6 cm (1/4 in.), and then vertically to the top.
