DescriptionBowl pressed upright, probably in a one-piece female mold bearing the pattern of an eagle surrounded by thirteen stars on the base and three different geometric motifs (four of one and two of each of the others) with acanthus leaves between on the eight sides, by a plain male plunger. Shear mark on plain interior surface. Joined by a quadruple annular knop to the base. Base pressed, probably upside down, in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing a stylized acanthus-leaf pattern on the exterior surface of the foot by a male plunger bearing the pattern of round ribbing on the interior of the stem and concentric rings of stippling on the underside of the base. Plain flat foot ring.
