DescriptionPressed, probably upright, in a female mold of three plain vertical sections with a base plate that formed the lower edge and underside of the base, by a male plunger bearing a pattern of two swallows in flight near the upper end. Upper half of tumbler-like form reheated, opened, and formed into this lobed shape by tooling. No pontil mark.
