DescriptionHexagonal socket and baluster below it, terminating in a short hexagon, pressed upright in a female mold of two vertical sections by a plain cylindrical plunger with a rounded lower end, with a cap ring that formed the rounded top of the socket. Joined directly to the hexagonal standard, with the moldmarks of the socket directly aligned with those of the standard. Standard and base pressed upside down in a female mold of two vertical sections by a tapered cylindrical plain male plunger with rounded step shoulders that formed the underside of the hollow base and the underside of its edge. No pontil mark.
