DescriptionFragment of curving border molding. At the top, a strip of opaque red; at the center, a strip of opaque white; at the bottom, another strip of opaque red. Upper- and undersides flat; smooth vertical edges. Fragment of curving border molding. At the top, a strip of opaque red; at the center, a strip of opaque white; at the bottom, another strip of opaque red. Upper- and undersides flat; smooth vertical edges. DESCRIPTION Two curving border moldings, both probably used as decoration in wall or vault mosaics or as inlays on furnishings. TECHNIQUE Cast and polished.
