DescriptionMarbled mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of a single cane in a purple ground with wavy, parallel opaque white lines.
DESCRIPTION Fragment of side, bottom, and base ring, probably from carinated bowl. Convex curving side; upperside of bottom concave; underside convex; outsplayed base ring with rounded edge.
TECHNIQUE Assembled from sections of cane and cast; rotary-polished on both surfaces; base ring cast as part of the vessel.
