DescriptionThis is a fragment of a cameo glass plaque, cut in opaque light blue glass over a translucent cobalt blue background. The preserved imagery shows part of a sacrificial scene. The relief is rendered in low relief, with the figures or motifs appearing against the contrasting darker ground.
