DescriptionOpaque white decoration on translucent blue glass. Flat rim fragment from a shallow dish, featuring a palmette frond and acanthus scroll tendril framed by a dashed white inner border. The relief decoration is achieved through the cameo glass technique, in which a white overlay was selectively removed to reveal the blue ground, creating a high-relief effect.
This fragment is believed to belong to the same vessel as Acc. Nos. 1923.1590, 1923.1601, and 1923.1606, based on stylistic and technical similarities.
